Under the project “Alternative healthcare through use of complemetary medicines: homeopathy as an option”, a consultation meeting was organized by Muslim Aid  project  team on 30^th September 2017 in colombo field office.

Muslim Aid Sri lanka initiated this project since January 2017. Medical practioners from alternative medical systems like Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, traditional medicines and health activities participated the full day meeting.

There are three main activities have been carried out by Muslim Aid Sri Lanka under this project as  follow,

1) Provide homeopathic treatment in Batticaloa district.

2) Awareness programmer on nature care and healthy living.

3) Recording Case histories and updating public awareness materials.

As part of the main activity 02, the project team and the dedicated volunteers have organized different awareness meetings and group discussions in Mutur, Kinniya, Nagama, Kahatagasdigiliya, Oddamavadi, Puthukkudiyiruppu to create awareness among the communities.

The above consultation meeting was organized by the project team on 30^th Sep 2017 to review the past awareness activities carried out for last 8 months, and also to plan a strategy and action plan to move forward. There were 16 participants present at this meeting. Finally, different actions were discussed and was agreed to take this mission forward.
