Each year millions of people die from preventable illnesses and injuries which are left untreated as result of a lack of access to adequate healthcare and nutrition in the developing world. Muslim Aid Sri Lanka developed and conducted many programs under Health Care. Mostly Muslim Aid focused during Emergency Situation like civil war and natural disaster situations. MASL conducted Medical Camps, Cataract Surgery camps during the civil war, supported through provided Ambulance Service and Medical Support for the War affected people. Meantime the Cataract Surgery project was conducted with the support of Kuwait Hospital. Recently during the Flood Relief in May 2006, there were thousands of people in need of Medical Support due to many diseases and water related infections. Therefore Muslim Aid conducted many medical camps during the period.
