Economic Empowerment (Urban)

The overall objective of Muslim Aid’s economic empowerment programme is to strengthen the socio-economic status of vulnerable families.Livelihood projects implemented by Muslim Aid have transformed lives through sustainable solutions.The programmes are designed to help people to increase their incomes and improve their standard of living.These programmes aim to increase access to training, mentorship, credit, and finance literacy to enable families to increase their economic independence.

Economic Empowerment (Rural)

Economically empowering vulnerable families will lead them to fulfill their basic needs and increase their economic independence.In Colombo and its suburbs, the household economy of vulnerable families will be strengthened through individual and group livelihood initiatives.

Agriculture Farming 1/2 Acres: LKR 400,000

Goat Farming Semi Intensive: LKR 400,000

Handloom: LKR 250,000

Dairy Farming Semi Intensive: LKR 450,000

Self-Employed – Skilled Labors: LKR 200,000
